so this is by far one of the outlandish birthdays i've ever had, blog. (:

at school, random people scampered up to me just to shout dear happy birthday in my ear. i must admit i was quite flattered that so many people would remember or i should say, know of my birthday. (i'm getting FAMOUS, i tell you! heh)

but later some girl told me that there were signs posted all over school that read: happy birthday evangeline!

except i didn't see any. @_@

so i went searching. i found out that all the signs were posted next to my classroom doors. -_- i must have been very absent-minded today, or even blind not to see the signs. (sorry christina. -_-)

but they weren't as big as the signs--i mean POSTERS that i made for christina's birthday. haha just kidding couldeena. !! thank you for making signs! *hug* they make me feel eminent. you know, eminent evangeline. (:

because it was november nineteenth, it was senior panorama picture day too. so me, juliet, jesskao, yumi, sally, van, mel, jennkim, julia and lisa all made our senior t-shirts all by ourselves. except jesskao and lisa made half of mine because i had to go piano lessoning. (:

we all twinned in the picture so you can find us later in the yearbook up front wearing red, blog.

i went walking around during lunch so couldeena couldn't find me and when she finally did she was already exasperated and brought me to the asb room to surprise me with a bouquet of balloons and boba. (: sweet girl.

because balloons float in the air, the security guard saw them from afar and marched over to me and told me in a very stern voice that balloons aren't allowed on campus. which very much surprised me because everyone brings balloons to school anyway.

it was jack. but i'm scared of him so i stuck the balloons in the back of the journalism room to keep them safe. or else i would have to a) pop them all with a needle b) sit on them, or c) or let them fly up to the sky. -_-

but on a brighter note, mr. fessenden was much nicer to me today. (: i didn't have to do any push-ups. and no seven-minute push-up position punishment even when i was just a little tiny bit late to practice.

i told fess that he should punish us by hugging trees instead of doing push-up position because it'll make us feel better. but he said no. -_-

hours passed and it was our photo gallery night for the crucible so after homing for an hour i had to rush back to school. my group's theme was hysteria so i took pictures of marianna and a shadow.

i had to stick myself in the storage room and turn off all the lights and have maribe open the door with the candle, looking scared. (: that's my hysteria picture number one. then the second one was my own shadow. it looks pretty tall. (: but it looked so hazy so you can't tell it's me and it looks mysterious. that's my hysteria picture number two.

jojoe and danny called me a loser for sticking around school on my birthday. -_- but i know mr. mickey wanted us to be there for the photo gallery and he's always nice to me so i came. and i think it was for our grade anyway.

i was supposed to go to church but then i stuck to watching the photo gallery and the food in case someone decides to rob us or something. (:

drew suddenly appeared and said he'll take me around for my birthday. he insisted on driving because he doesn't trust my driving. -_- what a boy.

but he DID "remember" though he does like jojoe and danny better than me. ._.

we didn't know where to go because i was to go to tgif with chriseley and stina and my family for dinner.

we just decided to take the first left which was at quickly. except none of us bought anything because he doesn't even like boba in the first place and boba's no fun if you don't have a boba buddy.

then we saw celia, haejin, and wendy outside of jj. and we just talked and played. and made faces. sil wants to do senior projects for drama because she could make faces. -_-

the clock beeped so we decided to run away and leave. and drew told me he didn't like danny and jojoe better than me but he liked us equal. -_- sfdg.

oh yes. my birthday present from drew was thirty-two minutes of time.

i had a cookie and i promised to get jesskao a cookie so i stopped in front of her house and ding-donged seven times. but no one was home. and when her house is dark and red, it's scary. -_-

so i leaped into the car and to my surprise, hiroshima [sherman] calls. happy birthday, he exclaims. he was at his girlfriend's house so i told him to come dinnering at tgif. but he said he couldn't go.

before long, chriseley calls me up to ask where i was. because i was supposed to meet him at church. so he just told me to go ahead to tgif.

i see chriseley waiting outside of tgif so walk in with him i do, and what do you know,
SURPRISE! HAPPY BIRTHDAY EVANGELINE! shouts were thrown at me.

and before me were a whole nice horde of people who came instead of just chriseley and my family. and jordan wan chan was there too after he LIED and said he couldn't come to tgif because he had work. -_-

haha i was shocked to my wits and i had to use the water closet really really bad so i ran to the bathroom.

then afterwards i was a bit calmed down, jessicawa and christina gave me a happy birthday crown. (:

and jessikao was there which was why she wasn't home. -_- and hiroshima and his girlfriend who claimed that they couldn't make it were there too. heh.

nice work couldeena. you surprise me yet. another kwan *hug*

christina, jordan, chriseley, amanda, jessicawa, kevin yang, timmy, jessikao, debbuah, mimi, reube, glo, wilso, betto, spenroe, jlo, joey, denny (uncle), jonathan, hiroshima, karen down around the tables respectively i think.

ange, abey, maribe and my mother sat on those booth tables so i didn't speak to them much because they were so far away. ._.

weelbur and seongey stayed for a little bit then ran away because they needed to "study."

everyone was playing those trivia games on the tv and talking talking and i was still trying to get over my surprise.

i just remember speaking to jessicawa, and a-man-DUH, jordan, chriseley, jessikao and debbuah, and kevin and timmy at the same time. they were sitting around me so they were my eating partners.

timmy doesn't like celery. -_- so me and jessikao chomped on it. and he looked at us with disgust. @_@ (for his half-birthday, i'm going to buy him celery).

i know it's impolite to swank about birthday presents but they're so funny and important to me that i must tell you, blog. !!

him and kevin were going to get me a license plate border that read: caution! student driver. -_- but they couldn't find it HEH. so they got me ugly socks!! (: and a nice funny beanie so i could wear it during wintertime so my braincells and ears don't freeze.

on a sidenote: happy birthday timmy. (: i hope you like your ugly brown beanie. since ugly seems to be the fashion nowadays. (well, i like ugly things)

i got a big gray shirt that says: DUFUS on it in yellow. i wonder who that's from CHRISELEY. -_- haha. they spelled doofus wrong.

spenroe gave me an air refreshener that says "air SPENCER" on it so i could think of him every time i'm driving. HA.

and reube and glo gave me a nemo calendar! and they each added a postscript in their homemade card. someone drew nemo on the front (: glo's p.s.: well reuben said you liked nemo so.... and reube's p.s.: well glo said nemo is cute so...

haha so just in case i despise their present i could blame it on either one of them.

and jordan wan chan and jessicawa got me a FOOTBALL jersey!! (:

i wanted to join football at school super bad. ._. well it was red and my number was 17 and it had KWAN on the back. and then on the sleeve, it said WILDCATS. (: because you know, the wilson WILDCATS!! *cross middle and ring finger together with pinkie and pointer finger standing straight and thumb down*

heh. thanks jordan and jessicawa. (:

and i also received a FOOTBALL. (: i'm going to practice football everyday so maybe if i'm good enough, i'll join in college even though i can't play for the dear wildcats. (:

football is officially my favorite sport. (: (but so is crosscountry/track and swim because they're my lifetime chums and they might feel sad.)

i also got a card from jordan: it's super big. and tall. (when i stand next to it, it's taller than my knees..maybe around one foot. and it's bigger than my backpack). and it's hallmark, of course.

it read:

open the card and there's a paper constructioned tree on the left. heh. it's a friendship tree which jordan made all by himself. and he made grass too. he wrote:
"don't make fun of my art" so i suppose i won't. (: heh

he stuck pictures and little quotes and stupid things like a mouse and a triangle and a picture of his car..with "car jacker" across it. -_- hahaha. early november, bbmak, still on your side, monsters inc., lilo and stitch, biola concert, high fives, and et cetera: our friendship tree. (i'll make a better one!! haha just kidding) but really, it was beautiful.

then on the right it gives you instructions for hug:
1. press card around body
2. apply pressure on left and right sides with arms
3. think about how special you are to so many people!

i got a picture frame of me and jessikao from her. (: so i could look at it and remember good times. and she got me those opaque paint markers (the one you have to shake) so i could smell them (: (they smell good!!) just kidding. -_- they make you lose braincells so i won't be smelling them after all. she also got me pucca stuff.

when i grow up, i think i want to look like pucca. (:

angela gave me a jelly drink and made spongebob out of construction paper for me. heh.

christina got me a pink beanie with two puffy balls on each side. -_- she said it reminded her of me. -_-

yes. then the tgif lady gave me nice birthday food. (: and they sang happy birthday to me. because, you know, it's my birthday today, blog. (:

so it got late, everyone was full, presents all opened, bill paid (thanks jordan for dropping) and it was time to leave.

aw shucks. i think i'm going to tearsquirt now. @_@ thanks you guys for pulling off this surprise birthday bash merrymaking. and the behind the scenes people like my dear family and mimi and jessicawa who helped decorate. and of course the people who came--even if it was a schoolday. and especially christina xiang-hue kwan and jordan wan chan. (: i must say i'm quite flattered. i feel loved. (: and i've never been more surprised ever. thanks a bunch you guys.
